Creating Wealth in Rural Idaho Communities

In February 2016, the University of Idaho Extension will be launching, in partnership with Oregon State University Extension and Rural Development Initiatives (RDI), the WealthWorks Northwest (WWNW) program in southern and eastern Idaho. This effort is funded by the USDA as part of an Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) project being implemented.

WealthWorks is a community driven effort to regional economic development that connects rural assets to market demands in ways that build multiple forms of wealth.

Two regional workshops will be held in 2016 to introduce the WWNW approach; February 19 in Caldwell and February 26 in Pocatello. A link and more information for registration will be available at the beginning of January.

For more information about WWNW you can visit its website at www.wealthworksnw.org.
